Gage is a vibrant 1 year old buff and white male who came to us from a local shelter. When we first met Gage, he was nearly hairless and covered with sores as a result of sarcoptic mange. His treatment complete, he is recovering now and hair is starting to grow back. This little guy is thriving. Gage is a bouncy little guy, full of energy and looking for a playmate.

Gage, when we first met him
This handsome guy is now called Garth. He was first given the name Goliath because he was overweight and out of shape when we first met him. But with a little low cal food and some good exercise, he has trimmed down so the name Garth is a better match for his new fit body. He's successfully completed heartworm treatment and is ready to be a loving addition to a new forever home. Garth is a 3-5 year old chocolate and white male who is an absolute teddy bear. He is soft, cuddly and loves to snuggle. He knows how to sit, shake and would be tickled pink to find a family to love. You'll welcome this big happy guy with open arms because he is a sweetheart!

Artemis, named for one of Alexandre Dumas' famous trio is better known as Artie around his foster home. While he's not much of a swashbuckler, Artie is around 4 - 5 years old and real sweet guy. He has successfully undergone heartworm treatment but then he came down with a bit of a skin problem. His skin problem is now under control, and Artie is ready to swing from foster care to his forever home. "The great pleasure of a dog is that you may make a fool of yourself with him and not only will he not scold you, but he will make a fool of himself too".
-Samuel Butlet

Fluffy Duffy is a big silly boy who entertains us with his goofy antics and keeps us laughing with his monkeyshines. He is 3-4 years old and is the best dog ever! He loves to play with his squeaky toys and he gives oodles and oodles of big sloppy kisses. He gets along great with kids and other dogs and loves to play ball. This great little guy loves to snuggle and will weasel his way into your bed....AND into your heart.

If it is true that a dog says "I love you" with its tail, Tanner must sound like a broken record. With a long fluffy tail that wags constantly, this guy says "I love you" 24 hours a day / 7 days a week. Tanner is an absolutely adorable 2-3 year old blonde male who loves everyone. He loves his toys and appears to be housetrained. He has finished heartworm treatment and is ready for his forever home. It is said that, "Love doesn't make the world go round but it makes the ride worthwhile." We are head over heels for Tanner and his love definitely makes the ride worthwhile. Meet Brogan! He is a classy 5+ year old sable who is eager to make you his snuggle buddy. This little guy's spunk will keep you laughing, because he is not about to let blindness in one eye stop him. Brogan is always ready to go for a walk, play with his favorite tennis ball, or cuddle next to you. Although he is better as an only dog, Brogan loves everyone he meets! He's the subject of one of our Cold Case Cockers features. Read more about Brogan on Cold Case Cockers, Case File 2008-04.

Like super model Claudia Schiffer, our Claudia is a long legged, elegant beauty. Claudia is senior girl with a long stately tail. She will win you over with her sweet disposition, long silky ears and million dollar smile! Come meet Claudia and let her "strike a pose" into your heart.
If you're happy and you know it wag your tail (wag, wag, wag)
If you're happy and you know it wag your tail (wag, wag, wag)
If you're happy and you know it then your face will surely show it
If you're happy and you know it wag your tail. (wag wag, wag)

Martin is a cheerful 2-3 year old blonde male who is happy and he knows it because he is always wagging his tail. He was found hungry and running the streets but now he's happy to have yummy food to eat. He is also happy because he has a warm bed to sleep on. But he's NOT happy because he is in boarding and would like to have a nice family. If you really want to see his tail wag, give him a chew toy and a spot next to you on your cozy bed He'll be happy and YOU'LL know it.

"Dooney...get your ball. Where's your ball?"

Just say the word "ball" and Muldoon (although he prefers to be called Dooney), perks his ears, the sniffer get started and he darts off looking for it. Up and down the steps, under the furniture, behind the sofa or whereever it bounces, this guy will find it and prance around with it in just mouth to make sure the other dogs don't get it. You'll want to spoil this handsome 4-5 year old black and white male but make sure you buy the balls with a bell in them because we have a little secret. Shhhhh....don't tell him that he's blind. He doesn't know that his eyes don't work because he uses his nose for everything. Once he gets acclimated to his surroundings, he functions as well or better than the others. By the way, he is completely housetrained.

Buddy O is a 7 year old black male who came to us shivering in his boots with his tail between his legs. As a puppy, he went to live with an "empty nester" couple who doted over him constantly and treated him like a child. He loved his toys and slept with his mom and dad and life was wonderful! Then one day in September of 2008, his mom died suddenly and it was just Buddy and his dad. It was tough but they had each other. Then in December of 2008, his dad had a massive heart attack and he died too and Buddy was left all alone with nowhere to go. That's when he discovered the Cocker Inn. Buddy is totally housetrained and loves his toys but need a new place to call home. This handsome guy is very special and is looking for a new family to call his own. We can tell you that this little guy is creme de la crème.
