We adopted Courtney when she was just a puppy…maybe 2-3 years old. . We arrived after calling to make sure the dog named "Courtney" would be available. We were in love and apparently so were a lot of others in the room. A line had formed to meet her as she stood in the corner loving every second. The minute we met we had to have her. She came to us in 2003 and passed September 2014.
We will remember Courtney for her angelic personality and her never ending desire to chase an irreplaceable blue ball. Not just any blue ball…HER blue ball. She knew no stranger and went everywhere with us that we could take her from soccer fields to beaches to family events from Florida to Galveston. She had become very immobile with some hip problems, eye problems, and just "getting older" problems. We knew when her life stopped including chasing the ball, it would take its toll. We loved her very much and we have the ball tucked safely away for when we see her again.
Thank you CockerKids for giving us one of the greatest joys for our family.
She was so loved and will be so missed.
